Video Insight to Donate $1,000,000 in Video Surveillance Systems To Schools and Colleges
In this day and age of continued violent acts and threats on school and college campuses, video surveillance isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. Despite the fact that video surveillance is essential, we know there continue to be schools and colleges out there that have absolutely no protection due to budget constraints. Video Insight has developed the School Security Grant to help schools that lack funds implement a video surveillance solution and to give back to these communities in need. Beginning in January 2015 — and for each month throughout the year — a school or college will be chosen to receive the software and equipment necessary to implement a video surveillance solution.
Each Video Insight School Security Grant recipient will receive the following equipment:
- 48 Video Insight Video Management Software (VMS) licenses
- 16 IP video surveillance cameras
- 1 video encoder
- 10 years of the Video Insight Software Upgrade Program (SUP)
