Only Four Months Into the Year, the World’s Dumbest Criminal of 2015 is Caught on Camera At ISC West

Crime doesn't take a vacation, even in Las Vegas. Thieves are seemingly everywhere these days, including right in the middle of the show floor at the largest security conference in the United States, ISC West.

If you've never been on the show floor, you'll easily notice one thing – a lot of security cameras. Not just a few. There are cameras of every shape, size, and capability being shown off by many of the more than 1,000 exhibitors. And what do you know; most of them are actually recording video.

While we've mentioned other thefts during security tradeshows before, this one takes the cake. At the Pelco booth during last week's tradeshow, this idiot got caught red-handed by the surveillance cameras at the booth.

Without any further delay, here's the video.

And yes, I had to watch the video twice to make sure I saw correctly. The thief had the audacity to wear his ISC West badge with his name and company he was representing. I don't think he'll be back anytime soon.

On a more serious note, the conference was a huge success. I've never seen the expo floor so full of companies and attendees looking to learn about the latest and greatest security technology. I hope to see everyone later this year at ASIS 2015 in Anaheim, California.
