HGH Infrared Systems to Present Spynel-M for the First Time at ASIS 2015

At this year’s 61st annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits in Anaheim, CA. HGH Infrared Systems will debut their latest advancement in panoramic infrared thermal imaging sensors, the Spynel-M. While this is not the first time HGH has presented at the world-renowned security tradeshow, it will mark the first time the Spynel-M, which was launched in May of 2015, will be on display there.

The Spynel-M joins the already established and award-winning Spynel family as the most compact and mobile solution for unprecedented perimeter security and benefits from HGH’s previous 15 years of expertise in international security projects.  Ideal for critical infrastructures such as nuclear plants, solar and wind farms, prisons, dams or power stations, the Spynel-M is a high-resolution infrared panoramic thermal imaging camera weighing only 4 lbs. and standing at less than 8 inches. The system continuously captures full panoramic, high-definition images every second but can also perform sector scanning at a higher rate bringing real-time security against conventional and asymmetric threats. Due to its very low power consumption of only 8 watts, the system can also work with solar or alternate power supply systems for a remote operation. With the automated advanced threat detection Cyclope software, which has been perfected over the course of the last decade, any ground, air or maritime threat is instantly detected and tracked, for an unlimited number of intrusions. The system can be used as a stand-alone option or coupled with other systems already in place for an enhanced security plan.

ASIS 2015 marks the second time HGH Infrared Systems, headquartered in the US in Boston, has launched one of their unique Spynel systems at one of the world’s most influential security conference and tradeshow. It was in 2013 that HGH Infrared Systems launched their first uncooled version at ASIS, the Spynel-U. As one of the industries’ most trusted tradeshows for identifying the most up-to-date equipment and techniques in security, HGH is grateful to once again share their innovative systems on an international stage.
