Arecont Vision Now Shipping New IP Megapixel Camera Families

Arecont Vision has announced the immediate availability of two exciting new IP megapixel (MP) camera series and powerful new camera setup and configuration software. The new additions include the MicroDome G2 and MegaVideo G5 cameras, and the AV IP Utility software.  All are on display at the 61st ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits in the Arecont Vision booth (#817) at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California, from September 28 - 30, 2015.

“Convenience, ease of use, and groundbreaking low-light performance are just some of the many reasons these new cameras represent the next generation in IP megapixel video solutions,” said Brad Donaldson, director, Product Management, Arecont Vision. “Arecont Vision continues to deliver industry-leading megapixel video products that provide end users with both high performance and outstanding value.”

The new MegaVideo G5 is the company’s fifth generation of MegaVideo cameras    including a 1.2MP model equipped with Arecont Vision’s groundbreaking STELLAR (Spatio TEmporal Low Light ARchitecture) low-light technology. Available in single-sensor configurations in 1.2MP, 1080p, 3MP, 5MP, and 10MP models with optional remote focus/zoom p-iris lenses.

Arecont Vision has enhanced MegaVideo G5 with on-board SDHC card storage up to 32GB, and with CorridorView which allows the camera image to be rotated 90 degrees for increased coverage of hallways and corridors. MegaVideo G5 cameras also feature the ability to scale images to different resolutions to better meet system bandwidth and storage requirements.

MicroDome G2 all-in-one ultra-low-profile cameras offer the convenience of remote focus and three-axis adjustment to facilitate ease of installation and setup. The MicroDome G2 multi-megapixel camera series includes models with 1.2MP, 1080p, 3MP, and 5MP resolutions. These true day/night cameras are available with a choice of interchangeable lens options ranging from 2.8mm to 16mm. The 1.2MP MicroDome G2 features advanced low-light technology, and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) models with 1080p and 3MP resolutions are also available.

The powerful new AV IP Utility is a free and easy-to-use software program that enables users to quickly connect and configure the company’s IP cameras. Whether used for large installations that require an update to multiple settings or smaller installations with only one camera, this utility is convenient for mass or single-camera configuration and updates.

The AV IP Utility can be downloaded from the Support page of the Arecont Vision website.

ASIS attendees are invited to visit the Arecont Vision booth (#817) for a demonstration of the new cameras and the AV IP Utility Monday, September 28th through Wednesday, September 30th, 2015.
