COPS Monitoring Promotes Eric Scrivana to Newly Created Management Position

COPS Monitoring, the largest provider of wholesale professional alarm services in North America, announced today the promotion of Eric Scrivana to the newly created position of Operations Project Manager.  In his new position based at COPS’ NJ National Headquarters, Scrivana will focus on maintaining high quality and consistency of services at each of the 6 locations in COPS’ award-winning network of six UL listed monitoring stations.

“With sustained yearly double-digit growth for nearly a decade, it’s essential that we continue to pay very close attention to the fundamentals,” said Jim McMullen, President and COO of COPS.  “We continue to prepare our management team to take our staff to 1,000 employees and beyond.  Eric will be providing focused support to our front line management team at each of our locations and will further refine our ability to develop and deploy new services and features while ensuring service excellence and efficient communication amongst all management and team members.”

Scrivana brings to his new role 20 years of Operations experience with COPS.  He held several key positions, including advanced dispatcher, shift manager, and Senior Shift Manager of COPS’ dedicated PERS and MPERS services. Eric has an extensive background in training, and provided instrumental onsite support during and after the launch of COPS’ UL listed monitoring locations in Texas and Maryland. “I am very excited to work more closely with management at each of our locations,” stated Scrivana. “I look forward to leveraging my rich history with COPS to keep moving the skills of our management staff forward to the benefit of our company, staff, dealers, and their customers.”

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.” 3
