New Temperature Monitoring Systems Fill the Need for Businesses to Stay Afloat While Combating the Spread of COVID-19

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses are seeing an immediate need for thermographic technology. In combination with biometric identity verification, temperature detection and high sensitivity sensors, new temperature monitoring technology has become essential to organizations as they scramble for ways to protect patrons and employees from airborne pathogens and bacteria.

In its continuous efforts to help stop the spread of COVID-19, P&O Global Technologies Inc., is introducing its new Thermal Imaging Cameras and Check Point Temperature Pedestals.

Businesses such as restaurants, airports and schools are apprehensive about resuming operations, but P&O Global can help address these concerns. With its cutting-edge temperature measurement cameras, we work with manufacturers to bring top-of-the-line, automated identity and temperature monitoring systems that enforce temperature checks, urge mask compliance, and even promote hand sanitization.

Temperature Screening Terminal
Thermal imaging cameras, which use thermography, are a fast, contactless and reliable method to detect a fever, a common symptom of COVID-19.

Able to be used in crowded public areas to discover and track people with higher body temperature, the camera is ideal for places such as restaurants, hotels, universities, airports, customs, schools, homes and hospitals for possible inspection and quarantine. It can be used in indoor and windless environments. The cameras provide peace of mind to your customers and visitors as businesses are implementing effective safety and security policies.

With a high accuracy rate of ±0.9 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermographic temperature measurement camera can read a temperature range of 86 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. It measures temperatures in real-time.

The camera features 160 x 120 resolution in the thermal channel, high sensitivity sensor; a reliable temperature exception alarm function; 3D Digital Noise Reduction(DNR) and image detail enhancement; and an audio alarm. Its dimensions are 14.10" × 4.47" × 4.53", and it has a light weight of 3.88 pounds.

The camera offers a fusion of the thermal view and overlaid details of the optical channel. The thermal module’s field of view is 25° × 18.7° (H × V), and the optical module’s field of view is 39.42° × 22.14° (H × V). It combines details of thermal and optical image PIP, with the overlay thermal image on the optical image.

Temperature Check Point Pedestals
The compact, lightweight and durable device includes temperature measurement, face mask compliance alerts, and a hands-free, hand sanitizer dispenser. The device can also be branded for businesses, gyms, hospitals and more. It stands 11” wide and 62” high, with a base dimension of 13”x13”. The tower is made of composite aluminum, and the pedal and base are made of chrome aluminum.

The Check Point Temperature Pedestal system is a non-contact pedestal that utilizes advanced thermal detection technology to quickly scan body temperatures, among many other features.

The system provides crucial tools, all in one device, to combat the spread of COVID-19. It is highly accurate and ultimately can help save lives. Also, Moksha Design Inc. can brand the entire unit for any business or organization, further imprinting any brand’s name with customers.

Temperature screening is one of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for reopening businesses — and an effective tool to maintain safe operations. At P&O Global Technologies, we provide local customer service for our systems, and the devices are now available, complete with installation and routine maintenance, with no monthly fee.

P&O Global Technologies, Inc. is an international leader in surveillance camera systems that has a list of complete products to ensure efficiency, safety, loss prevention, or facial recognition. P&O uses the latest in technology to provide an excellent service and has more than 20 years in the market.
