ONIT Announces Hiring of Scott Fleming

Scott Fleming, former CEO of Protect America will be joining ONIT Smart Home. Protect America was founded in 1992, and has protected more than 400,000 residential customers, with both DIY and professionally installed security systems in the United States and in Canada. Fleming was a central part of the company’s growth and recent bulk-account acquisition with Brinks Home Security.

Curtis Kindred, CEO of ONIT Home Service, is excited to have Scott joining the senior leadership team and be believes he will play a key role in growing the ONIT company and brands.

“We’ve been working with Scott and his team from Protect America for a couple years now and we know this will be a great fit for ONIT” says Curtis. “They will be bringing in years of experience in the digital marketing space, which will help us to grow all of our verticals, nationwide.”

After working together for years as a strategic partner, Fleming will be taking on the role of Chief Revenue Officer for ONIT Home Service; overseeing all vertical brands.

In addition to Fleming, ONIT will also add several key members of Protect America’s operations team including executives, developers and critical marketing personnel. This team will be working to refine and develop a more robust online presence and brand while enabling omni-channel lead monetization.

ONIT Home Service will be scaling up more full-time employees to meet demand; the company will be hiring another 50 representatives and opening a second call center in Bedford Texas to manage the increased inbound activity.
