Mission 500’s Annual Softball Game Scheduled for October 9th in Overpeck County Park NJ

Mission 500 has announced that its annual security industry softball game fundraiser will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021. This year’s event is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Overpeck County Park. The first game will take place at 9:30 a.m., and will boast rosters comprised of local firefighters and friends of the Burn Camp. A Home Run Derby will officially kickoff the Security Softball Game at 11:45 a.m., held at 199 Challenger Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. To register visit here.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Sponsorships are available between $250 and $5,000. “Mission 500 has sustained operations during the pandemic, but the lack of many physical in-person events has made fundraising most difficult over the last 18 months. This year’s annual softball game is an opportunity for friends and families to get together to help children and families in crisis,” said Ken Gould, Mission 500 Chairman and owner, KJG Consulting. “Mission 500 is most appreciative to the individuals and companies that have continued to support this wonderful cause over the years, especially during these challenging times.”

Softball participants should wear masks, be mindful of social distancing and individuals’ personal space. The COVID pandemic is not over, and for the protection of everyone participating in this event requires good judgment for this and all in -person events.

Security industry professionals can also support Mission 500 in a variety of other ways, including through AmazonSmile, where Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to Mission 500. Simply register your Amazon account to our charity link by visiting here!
