American Digital Security Acquires Securix

Liberty, MO – Kansas City-based American Digital Security, LLC (ADS), a division of The Kincaid Group, has acquired St. Louis firm, Securix. Finalized on Dec. 10, the companies merged operations, allowing direct support of access control, video solutions, systems integration, fire systems, specialized network solutions and more with combined operations of $26 million and 60 employees.

Securix will join the ADS team, and will continue as Securix, as a division of American Digital Security.

After nearly 40 years in the security industry, and 20 years as president and founder of Securix, Kevin Hughes will join the ADS leadership team.

“Kevin and I have worked side-by-side for many years supporting each other’s efforts to provide timely support for our clients across Missouri and Kansas, each providing and servicing similar product-based solutions,” said Buddy Mason, ADS founder and vice president. “Earlier this year, ADS approached Kevin with the idea of a joint-venture partnership acquisition.
