Talevski takes the helm as new CEO to elevate and drive innovation

Swann, a global leader in consumer security solutions for more than 35 years, announces the appointment of Alex Talevski as its new CEO. This transition underscores the company's commitment to expertise and innovation.

After a nine-year tenure at Swann where he most recently served as the CTO, Talevski will play an integral role as CEO in leading the team to drive innovation both locally and globally. His strong industry portfolio spans several senior roles at Swann, BlueAnt Wireless and Azure Healthcare. Talevski succeeds U.S.-based Mike Lucas, who leaves an indelible legacy of seven years of leadership. Talevski will take on his role as CEO effective immediately and will remain based in Swann’s global headquarters in Port Melbourne, Australia.

“After almost a decade of unwavering support, endorsement and trust in my leadership, I’m excited to be taking the next step to lead Swann into its next stage of innovation,” Talevski said. “Together with our passionate and dedicated team and network of resellers, it’s an exciting time as we continue to revolutionize consumer security solutions on a global scale.”

Talevski was a pioneer in establishing and developing Swann's highly rated cloud and app ecosystem known as ‘Swann Security.’ This global ecosystem is compliant with both NDAA and GDPR regulations and proudly represents Australia's largest IoT deployment.

“I see this as the beginning of a new dawn of innovation for Swann,” Talevski said. “My appointment as CEO not only reaffirms Swann’s commitment to Australian ingenuity, but also propels the business towards a promising future globally. Aligning to our vision, I am determined to continue to drive our groundbreaking advancements within Artificial Intelligence, IoT integration, cloud services, 5G connectivity, privacy and data security and environmental sustainability.”

An avid camper, DIY enthusiast and passionate Collingwood football club supporter, Talevski lives in Melbourne with his wife, Olivia, and the couple’s two children.
