Live From GSX: Day 2

This year’s Live From partners, HID (Booth 2209) and IPVideo (Booth 3245), kept Monday’s momentum going strong at Day 2 of GSX in Dallas, Texas. Remember to keep tabs on our GSX Live 2023 landing page for the latest updates from the show floor—as well as @CampusSecur on the social media site formerly known as Twitter for photos, videos, and product demonstrations. Whether you’re attending the show in person or following the highlights digitally, be sure to give the latest developments from both of these organizations a moment of notice.

HID’s latest technologies include HID Linq, a centralized reader management solution, being previewed at the show. HID Linq offers compatibility with the full line of HID Signo readers and can further extend to a vast array of devices, connectivity, and management software. Employee Badge in Apple Wallet brings secure mobile access to Apple smartphones and other devices. Developments in ID card personalization include the secure and scalable, cloud-based HID Fargo Connect, as well as the HID Element UV inkjet with exclusive proprietary technology and the HDP6600 re-transfer card-printing solution.

IPVideo, meanwhile, recently launched the new HALO Cloud 10-Year Product Warranty for HALO 3C Cloud customers who purchase a 10-year cloud license. The warranty is available effective Sept. 1, 2023, and was designed to help districts with finite staff and time restrictions keep crucial security technology functioning properly. It’s also offering live demonstrations of the HALO Cloud app, which sends real-time notifications regarding vaping, air quality, safety events, and more straight to designated users’ mobile devices.

“Our continued goal is to provide organizations with solutions that keep those in charge aware and better prepared for situations and emergencies of all types, even those on-the-go,” said David Antar, president at IPVideo Corporation. “We are excited to share our new HALO Cloud App with GSX attendees and are pleased to announce our new 10-year warranty for HALO 3C Cloud users who purchase a 10-year cloud license and provide organizations with an even greater return on investment.”

Antar also offered video walkthroughs of functionalities of the SentryERS Emergency Response System and the HALO 3C.
