COPS Monitoring, NAPCO Partner with Connected and Protected Solutions to Support Tunnel to Towers

Connected and Protected, in a significant partnership with COPS Monitoring and NAPCO Security Technologies, is proud to announce its support for the Tunnel to Towers (T2T) Foundation. Launched on July 4th, a day that symbolizes freedom and the sacrifices of our veterans, this collaboration initiated a security campaign to provide life safety devices to over 800,000 veterans and retired military personnel.

CEO Frank Siller founded the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T) in loving memory of his little brother, FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life on September 11, 2001. T2T honors his legacy by supporting first responders, veterans, and their families through various impactful programs. These include providing mortgage-free homes for Gold Star families, offering financial assistance to catastrophic injury victims, and supporting first responders with necessary equipment and training. Headquartered in Sarasota, FL, with distribution centers in Las Vegas, NV, and Southern California, Connected and Protected is also working with Boom Media, led by former Shark Tank member Kevin Harrington. As a marketing resource, Boom Media will leverage its extensive network and expertise to raise awareness about the T2T Foundation and this security campaign initiative. The campaign will feature NAPCO's new Prima Smart security system along with Prima’s full line of security, video, and smart home devices.

Connected and Protected is pledging up to 10% of its profit from each sale to the T2T Foundation in addition to its corporate sponsorship. To maximize the impact of the donations, NAPCO is making significant pricing considerations on its equipment and COPS Monitoring has committed to substantial discounts on monitoring services for this meaningful cause.

Additionally, pending contract award, Connected and Protected's goal is to provide smarthome security systems and monitoring at no cost to 'Freedom Villages' – 120-unit hotel complex-style residences in Houston, TX, with a new facility recently breaking ground in Bradenton, FL. The Freedom Villages play a crucial role in helping veterans off the streets, out of mental facilities, and combating veteran suicide, which tragically occurs or is seriously contemplated every 23 minutes. When veterans move from the Freedom Villages, they will take part of their NAPCO Prima system with them into their personal homes, ensuring continued safety and support from a system they are already familiar with.

Connected and Protected's Managing Partner, John Feldman, shared his excitement for the initiative. He stated, "Connected and Protected is a company founded and operated by caregivers, who continue to do so today on a larger scale, with an altruistic mission to assist others, especially US Veterans, Retired Military and First Responders, and seniors across the USA. Our goal is to provide top-notch security solutions while also giving back to the community. My partner, Mickey Gross, and I consider our security careers as much a calling as we do a business."

Richard Soloway, NAPCO's Chairman of the Board and CEO, has a personal connection to the cause. He shared, "As a native New Yorker, 9/11 is deeply etched in my mind. Living close to the WTC and the Carey Tunnel, where Stephen Siller made his heroic run, profoundly impacted me. In the aftermath, the country turned to the security industry for help and preventative technologies to safeguard the future. I am proud that NAPCO was and continues to be part of that solution. Today, we're honored that our NAPCO Prima Smart Security System is being used to protect homes while supporting the Tunnel to Towers organization in aiding first responders and their families. We're glad to work with Connected and Protected and COPS Monitoring in this team effort, driven by our personal commitment to this cause."

"At COPS Monitoring, we are honored to be a part of this mission to aid our nation's heroes, said President Jim McMullen. "Providing security and peace of mind is not just our business, but a vital commitment to those who have selflessly dedicated their lives to protecting our communities and our country." Connected and Protected, COPS Monitoring, and NAPCO urge those wishing to make a difference to support our veterans and first responders by donating directly on Tunnel to Towers' website at www.t2t.org. Your contribution, no matter the size, is crucial in making a significant impact on the lives of our heroes. Moreover, we encourage companies with similar initiatives they wish to support to contact their NAPCO or COPS Monitoring account executive for information on how we can help.
