Mission 500 Welcomes Tristin Vaccaro as New Community Engagement Coordinator

Mission 500, the security industry's non-profit charity dedicated to supporting children in need across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tristin Vaccaro as the new Community Engagement Coordinator. Tristin, the owner of Vaccaro Copywriting and Marketing Solutions, brings a wealth of experience in communications within the security industry.

"We are so excited to welcome Tristin to the Mission 500 team," said Tracy Larson, President of WeSuite and Co-Chair of Mission 500. "Her passion for community service is apparent, as is her expertise in communications within the security industry. We believe she will significantly enhance our fundraising efforts and help us build stronger connections with the communities we serve."

In her new role, Tristin Vaccaro will be responsible for overseeing Mission 500's social media presence, organizing and coordinating in-person events, and driving engagement within the security industry and beyond. Her involvement will be crucial in nurturing sponsorships, handling events, and recruiting a younger audience, leveraging her role as a proud member of the SIA RISE Steering Committee and leader of the RISE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Subcommittee.

“After attending many Mission 500 events, it brings me great joy to now contribute directly to this incredible organization,” said Vaccaro. “What I love about Mission 500 is that it brings together the security community in new and fun ways while making a real difference in the lives of others. It is this mission that I hope to champion in all the work I do here.”

Tristin's addition to the team comes at a pivotal time for Mission 500, as the organization continues to expand its outreach and support efforts. With a dedicated board of volunteers, Mission 500 is committed to making a positive impact and looks forward to the new energy and ideas Tristin will bring to the role.
