Hakimo Wrapped 2025: Raising the Bar for AI Security Monitoring

Adoption accelerated across commercial and enterprise environments.

2025 was a defining year for Hakimo. From major milestones and industry recognition to real-world impact across hundreds of properties, this year proved one thing clearly: AI-powered security monitoring has become an indispensable force in protecting assets and people across diverse industries.

Our innovative solutions have demonstrated that artificial intelligence can transform traditional security approaches into proactive, intelligent systems that never sleep.

As we wrap up the year, here is a comprehensive look back at how Hakimo raised the bar for proactive, intelligent security monitoring in 2025, setting new standards for what is possible in the security industry.

A Defining Start to the Year

We kicked off the year 2025 with a major milestone of $10.5 million in Series A funding. The investment marked a pivotal moment in Hakimo's journey, enabling us to accelerate product innovation, expand our AI monitoring capabilities, and scale our impact across more industries and geographies. This significant funding round validated our vision and technology, attracting attention from major players in the industry.

This funding was not just about growth but also about doubling down our focus on the mission to make security proactive, intelligent and measurable. It empowered us to invest in cutting-edge research, enhance our AI algorithms, and build a stronger team of artificial intelligence experts.

This year, we also launched AI Operator, an autonomous agent. It can monitor any video stream, detect anything that can be described in words, and then reason through a set of instructions just like a human operator would.

Meeting the Industry Stalwarts

Throughout the year, we connected with many security leaders, property owners and technology partners at some of the biggest events like GSX, NAA, ISC West, and OPTECH.

These industry gatherings provided invaluable platforms to showcase our latest innovations and learn from security professionals facing real-world challenges.

Across many such events and 1,000+ conversations, we exchanged ideas, formed new partnerships, and reinforced a shared belief that AI-driven monitoring is transforming how security teams operate across industries. These interactions helped shape our product roadmap and confirmed that our solutions address critical security needs across various sectors.

What the Data Told Us About Security Threats

With AI monitoring thousands of hours of video footage, clear patterns emerged in 2025, providing unprecedented insights into security vulnerabilities and threat patterns. Our advanced analytics revealed crucial temporal and behavioral trends that helped shape more effective security strategies.

More than 50% of incidents occurred between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., highlighting the critical need for reliable, real-time monitoring when sites are most vulnerable. Incidents were most frequent at night, when staffing levels were lower. This data underscores the importance of maintaining vigilant security measures during off-peak hours when human surveillance might be limited or less effective.

When it came to threat types, the most common challenges we tackled were:

Intrusion. Hakimo identifies loitering/intrusion patterns in real time, distinguishing between normal foot traffic and suspicious behavior. By detecting prolonged presence in restricted or low-traffic areas and escalating alerts instantly, sites can intervene early, often preventing incidents before they escalate into crimes.

Trespassing. Traditional security systems often detect trespassing too late. Hakimo's AI continuously monitors defined zones and detects unauthorized presence the moment it occurs. This enables rapid verification, real-time escalation, and coordinated response ensuring that genuine threats are addressed without delay.

The other common threat was unauthorized access, which our system effectively detected and prevented through sophisticated pattern recognition and real-time alert mechanisms. These are not just statistics but real risks that demand fast detection and decisive response. Hakimo's AI made that possible at scale, providing security teams with the tools they need to protect assets and people effectively.

Protecting Properties, Reducing Risk

In 2025, Hakimo helped protect 400+ properties across diverse sectors, delivering measurable outcomes that significantly surpassed traditional security solutions. Our AI-powered monitoring system demonstrated exceptional performance in safeguarding assets, people, and infrastructure across these locations, setting new benchmarks in the security industry.

  • 60% reduction in overall incidents, showcasing the effectiveness of our proactive AI monitoring approach in preventing security breaches before they occur
  • 3× growth in both customers and revenue, reflecting strong market validation and growing trust in Hakimo's innovative security solutions

These remarkable results reinforced what our customers consistently experienced: AI monitoring not only enhances security protocols but fundamentally transforms operations, delivering substantial return on investment through reduced losses and optimized resource allocation.

Real Customers. Real Impact

Our customers' success stories in 2025 painted a compelling picture of AI's transformative power. We witnessed extraordinary results across various sectors including real estate propertiesconstruction sites, and self-storage, each demonstrating unique applications of our technology.

Skanska. A global construction leader, proactively safeguarded major infrastructure projects using Hakimo's AI-driven monitoring, preventing potential losses worth millions while ensuring seamless project progression.

Curio Storage. Achieved remarkable results, significantly reducing break-ins while fostering enhanced trust with tenants through intelligent surveillance systems that provided round-the-clock protection.

AMP. Revolutionized their security approach using Hakimo AI, resulting in an impressive 66% cost reduction and approximately 90% decrease in crime rates, setting new standards for operational efficiency.

These success stories exemplify how AI security monitoring transforms organizations from reactive responders to proactive preventers, highlighting the crucial role of advanced AI systems in incident prevention and crime deterrence.
