Swan Security is introducing D1 high definition technology that records video 4 times larger and clearer than traditional security cameras, without sacrificing real time recording and live viewing. SwannLink app syncs cameras with tablet or smartphone for remote viewing. It records in color during the day and black and white at night, using IR LEDs. DVRs 500GB hard drive allow for “set and forget” functionality for up to 30 days of continuous recording, motion-activated feature extends continuous recording time.
Bosch Security Systems
The new DINION IP imager 9000 HD camera from Bosch Security Systems is designed for perimeter protection and the surveillance of critical infrastructures, such as power plants and water treatment facilities. These types of applications require robust and reliable IP video surveillance solutions that proactively guard the property’s fences day and night, regardless of weather and lighting conditions. The DINION IP imager 9000 HD has an extremely rugged design and built-in active infrared lighting to withstand harsh weather conditions and penetrate darkness. Its unique features ensure that relevant objects of interest are captured with the highest level of detail possible, regardless of harsh backlight or front light, using intelligent Auto Exposure from Bosch. The Bosch intelligent Auto Exposure feature (iAE) overcomes this challenge by automatically adjusting the camera’s settings to increase the dynamic range of the camera.
Sentry 360 has introduced its award winning SentryEdge, an ecosystem-driven appliance that combines a server and smart network switch into one product. It provides versatile storage selection, such as NAS, RAID or any other third-party storage system. IP video has struggled to replicate the plug-and-play legacy that was created by analog systems and SentryEdge brings that ease of use one closer to the integrator and end user. The unit provides a scalable solution regardless of project size. It comes with solid state drives, securing the operating system for reliability, Intel processors ensuring speed and security and high wattage PoE ports to allow for all cameras from Panasonic 360/180 degrees, PTZ and Ultra HD surveillance cameras.

MicroPower Technologies Inc. has added a range-booster antenna as an optional add-on to the Helios surveillance system. The new antenna extends the data transmission range of the outdoor Helios surveillance camera, allowing for seamless transmission of video up to two miles line-of-sight. The range-booster antenna increases signal sensitivity by 16 times, yielding greater system performance. It also extends the allowable distance between the hub and the hub antenna by up to 200 feet, allowing users to place the hub antenna farther from the hub platform with minimal signal loss. The enhanced distance factor extends camera placement options to include more remote and/or geographically challenging locations.
Honeywell Security & Communications
Honeywell’s equIP Series of IP-network cameras give dealers a broad portfolio of options for residential and commercial surveillance needs. equIP Series is a family of IP-ready products, including microdome, box cameras, indoor IR done, indoor dome, and rugged that integrate with DVRs and NVRs for complete video management. All cameras in the suite use Honeywell technology for camera video motion detection, tamper detection, remote firmware updating and for security storage of camera settings. The cameras provide high-definition picture, efficiency and real-time video. The equIP Series complies with open-integration standards, including PSIA and ONVIF, to integrate seamlessly with existing analog cameras.
ATV offers two specialty cameras: IPMC2M & IPMC2MA. Both cameras come with a 2MP, 1600 x 1200 resolution for clear video quality and are ONIF compliant for network video interoperability. The cameras feature H.264 compression, a fixed 2.6mm wide angle lens and both PoE and 5VDC power. They provide triple video streaming and a Micro-SD card slot for local on-board camera recording.
