AI at the Edge: Are You Ready?

Date: Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 2:00pm ET - 1:00pm CT - 11:00am PT

The increased use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all market segments combined with higher-quality video and a wider embrace of data and analytics are creating “smarter” solutions that can deliver more accurate detection and search results, reduce system bandwidth, and increase operational efficiency, among many other benefits. The use of Edge AI, especially with analytics based on deep learning algorithms, is a key element in a range of smart network surveillance applications. These include object detection and classification, and the collection of attributes in the form of metadata – all while reducing latency and system bandwidth burdens and enabling real-time data gathering and situational monitoring.

This webinar will go into detail on why AI is moving to the Edge and discuss:

  • Artificial Intelligence 101 -Key benefits of AI including false alarm reduction and forensic search effectiveness.   The more we improve and add more attributes to the detections, the faster the forensic search and the more accurate the alarms.
  • How AI is being used effectively in new markets – discuss real examples and use cases
  • Different types of AI Systems – software and hardware based systems
  • Future trends in AI - cloud-based systems and Hanwha’s unique AI solutions
