Standards Forum To Address Proposed Changes To NFPA Document Development Process

All conference attendees are welcome to attend the NFPA Standards Forum Tuesday, June 8, to hear about the proposed “Re-Engineering of the Codes and Standards Process,” and other future changes and how NFPA is contemplating streamlining and simplifying the process.

NFPA is conducting the forum because the association recently reviewed its entire codes and standards development process, including a detailed survey of all Technical Committee members and focused interviews. NFPA has implemented changes to the current process to continue to improve the committee member experience.

Jim Pauley, chair of the Standards Council, Amy Cronin, secretary of the Standards Council, and Chris Dubay, NFPA vice president and chief engineer are set to speak. The forum will be held at 1 p.m. in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom L.
