New Product Of The Year Award Winners Announced

Security Products magazine, the only integrated product magazine reaching the entire security market, announced the winners of its 2010 New Product of the Year Award at the publication’s premiere Virtual Event today.

The Security Products New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security. 90 entries were received in the second year of this contest, a 40 percent increase over entries received in 2009. Winners were honored in eight product award categories:

In addition to being honored at Security Products Virtual Event 2010, the grand prize winners will be presented with awards at ASIS in Dallas October 12-14. They also are featured on Security Products’ leading industry website, http://www.secprodonline.com, and will be highlighted in the December 2010 issue of Security Products magazine. All entries are showcased on Security Products website. The magazine is distributed to 65,000* subscribers monthly as well as at key industry trade events such as ASIS, and its leading website is visited by thousands of security professionals every week.

The technology used to announce the 2010 award winners also was new for Security Products.
