Security Industry Sales Pro Joins Salient Systems

Steve Davis, formerly of AMAG Technology, has joined the Salient Systems national sales force as regional sales manager for the Northeast and Mid Atlantic.

“Steve Davis has a very strong profile in security product sales and management that is clearly reflected in his previous positions with AMAG and GE Security. We are focused on aggressively continuing our penetration into these territories and are delighted to have Steve on board,” said Bob Wilbur, CEO of Salient Systems.

Davis will be responsible for regional integrator recruitment and sales, cultivation of leading security consultants and business development providing tools, knowledge and service for a rapid expansion of Salient’s products in the marketplace. He moves into this position following the promotion of Tom Chamard from regional director of sales to vice president of national accounts.

Chamard has been with Salient Systems since October 2009. He previously served as senior manager of national accounts in North America for Tyco Safety Products where he was responsible for national integrators and deployments into Fortune 500 accounts. As senior manager, he served as corporate liaison between Software House and American Dynamics. Prior to his years with Tyco, Chamard served as director of sales and national accounts for Honeywell Integrated Systems.
