City Of Dallas Using NC4 Technology Around Super Bowl

NC4 Inc. recently announced that four command operation centers, including the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management and the City of Dallas Police Department Fusion Center will be using NC4 technologies to heighten situational awareness around the Super Bowl, and protect the region during some 300 Super Bowl events leading up to the game.

"We utilize NC4 to monitor critical infrastructure not only in the Dallas area, but also at the state, national and international level," said Lieutenant Ronald Thomasson, City of Dallas Police Department.  "NC4's real-time threat alerting is a consistently reliable source of information for our fusion center. Using NC4's technologies has proven to be a huge time saver for us, and allows our officers to better protect our citizens and the quarter of a million visitors that will be attending Super Bowl festivities throughout the metroplex."

NC4's emergency management application will also be used across the command operation centers to provide a common operating picture to those involved with supporting security operations for the Super Bowl, including the operations center run by the FBI.

As incidents unfold, staff members across the four command centers will have real-time visibility of the incidents, enabling venue commanders to quickly see where resources and assets are needed, what's available, and then effectively manage the allocation of these resources and assets across the region.

"NC4 is honored that our technologies will assist in providing another layer of information to those tasked with monitoring and securing the Dallas region leading up to and during the Super Bowl," said Jim Montagnino, NC4 president and CEO. "NC4 is familiar with the unique requirements of events of this size and scope, having had our technologies used for numerous Super Bowls and Olympic Games over the past decade."
