Steven Donovan Named Oncam Global Inc.

Oncam Global Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Oncam Global Group, has named Steven Donovan as vice president of sales responsible for North America.

Donovan joined the company with more than a decade of experience in sales of advanced imaging technology products for the security industry.

Prior to coming to Oncam, Donovan had been the director of business development at Behavioral Recognition Systems Inc., which develops behavioral analytics software.

At BRS Labs Donovan was responsible for promoting new video security technology among targeted end users, strategic value-added resellers, and architectural and engineering firms. Besides helping to plan and implement sales strategies in maritime, nuclear, critical infrastructure, city surveillance and transportation sectors, he managed the OEM program and key relationships at the corporate/enterprise level with defined accounts, and developed the engineering and consultant program.

Earlier, at Samsung Techwin America, in Carson, Calif., Donovan was eastern regional sales manager, and, as a sales executive for JDS Digital Security Systems, a pioneer in the NVR software world, he managed sales channels, including IT/security/system integrators, VARs and national distributors, delivering cutting-edge IP video solutions.

Donovan began his career in imaging technology at Axis Communications Inc., in Chelmsford, Mass., and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.
