SecurityTronix Announces HD-COAXINATOR Series

SecurityTronix Announces HD-COAXINATOR SeriesSecurityTronix is thrilled to announce the release of the HD-COAXINATOR series of high definition cameras and CVR digital video recorders. This series utilizes the same coaxial cable, connectors and power plugs as a traditional analog CCTV system. The HD-COAXINATOR series is priced like analog and performs HD, but without video latency or other difficulties found when dealing with IP-based systems. Integrators can easily upgrade existing systems from analog to HD by simply replacing the old analog cameras and DVR with the HD-COAXINATOR camera and CVR digital video recorder series.

SecurityTronix HD-COAXINATOR cameras feature the advanced 1/3" Aptina low illumination CMOS sensor, 1.3MP (720p) resolution, a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens, and IR LEDS that let you see up to 164ft in complete darkness. The cameras are available in Dome, Turret Dome and Bullet housings with other styles coming soon. CVR recorders are available in 4, 8, or 16 channels, and will allow the upcoming HD-COAXINATOR PTZ series to run CoC (Control over Coax) over the same video coaxial cable without the need for separate RS485 twisted pair wiring!

Jennifer Kern, SecurityTronix brand manager stated, "The SecurityTronix HD-COAXINATOR is the first true paradigm shift I have seen in the CCTV industry since the inception of the DVR replacing time lapse video tape recorders. The HD-COAXINATOR series allows for stress-free HD upgrades using the existing analog system infrastructure. Installers can quickly install new HD systems without the need for IP wiring or the complexity involved in setting up a network. The HD-COAXINATOR series is designed as a perfect HD solution for installers with little or no IT or network experience".

Kern added, "The HD-CVI technology used in the SecurityTronix HD-COAXINATOR provides resolution, color depth, and recognition that analog cameras are incapable of matching. Other more expensive HD over coax products on the market today often have a limited transmission distance. The HD-COAXINATOR overcomes this limitation using new breakthrough technology to extend signal transmission distance, with virtually no deterioration in picture quality. We researched and developed a quality, plug and play, cost effective HD solution that makes sense."
