Ready for Unlimited Scalability with Milestone Arcus-embedded Solutions

Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), is announcing the next step for open platform technology driving innovation through embedded solutions.

Milestone Arcus is a video surveillance platform designed for low-complexity, low-cost deployments and uniquely customized for the selected hardware devices of Milestone partners.

In combination with Milestone Interconnect as a key building block for future scalability of Milestone-powered systems, this allows end users at any time to remotely monitor all edges of the video management network using Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS.

"I am excited that intelligent cameras as the newest addition to the range of embedded solutions powered by the Milestone Arcus platform,” said Lars Nordenlund, VP of incubation and ventures at Milestone Systems. “This is another significant step in offering unlimited scalability ranging from installations with one single intelligent camera such as those from IQinVision to large, remotely monitored installations in a global network.”

Unlimited Scalability via a Broad Portfolio of Partners

Milestone Arcus partners offer great variability in hardware form factors, functionalities, design, availability and price points.

Examples of such solutions are Milestone Arcus embedded NAS/NVRs as offered by LenovoEMC and the low power consuming systems from Veracity. Solutions from Razberi offers an integrated switch, while Shuttle Computer Group is delivering slim, high performance NVRs. Top View Corp’s broad scale OEM-solutions will offer even more choices for their customers.

"Milestone Arcus is a perfect testimonial of our dedication to open platform technology and our partner ecosystem,” said Nordenlund. “We will continue to execute to our vision of unlimited scalability and expanding choices, always with more exciting technology to come.”
