Catalyst AV Distribution Network Appoints AHA Distributing for Southeast Territory

Nationwide specialty AV products distribution network Catalyst AV has filled its Southeastern territory slot with the appointment of AHA Distributing.  In doing so, AHA adds to its portfolio APC, Catalyst Wire & Cable, ClearView CCTV, Dropcam, EnGenius, IC Realtime, Nest, Rapid Mounts, TiVo and Vivitek.  These lines and many more will be featured at AHA’s 3rd annual Aim High Audio “Big Show” taking place March 24th and 25th at the Marriott Atlanta Northwest at Galleria hotel.

Borne several years ago from independent sales representative firm Aim High Audio, AHA is a rapidly growing distribution company that caters to the custom residential and light commercial channels from its Marietta, Georgia and Tampa, Florida outlets. For the Catalyst AV Network, the company will serve Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Carolinas.

“AHA Distributing is a strong force in the Southeast with a vast dealer network,” said Steve Presti, board member of Catalyst AV.  “Their commitment to quality sales and customer support programs is perfectly in keeping with Catalyst AV’s mission. AHA is a formidable addition to the Group.”

Chris Gilray, AHA Distributing president said, “There are tremendous benefits in being able to share ideas with the many Catalyst AV member-companies around the country and bring these great lines and educational programs to our dealers; it also takes our Aim High Audio “Big Show” to an entirely new level. We’re all very excited.”

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
