SUV Tries to Ram Gates at NSA Headquarters

According to reports, one person was killed and two were severely injured after guards opened fire on a man who tried to ram his SUV through the gates of the National Security Agency’s headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland. The driver crashed the vehicle into the entrance around 9:30 a.m.

Fort Meade is a US Army base in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and lies northeast of Washington D.C. Police have confirmed that the incident happened on the NSA side of the installation.

The FBI has stated that the shooting is not related to terrorism.
