New Samsung NVRs Feature Built in PoE/PoE+ Switches

Samsung Techwin America continues to develop solutions that deliver maximum performance and value with the release of its new NVRs at ASIS 2015 (booth # 1729). Available in 4-, 8- and 16-channel models, the units comes equipped with a built-in PoE/PoE+ network switch, eliminating the need for additional hardware and installation costs. In addition, the new NVRs enable an HDMI/VGA monitor to be connected and controlled with a USB mouse or IR remote for easy setup and monitoring. The 16 channel model, SRN – 1673S is equipped with front accessible hard drives, allowing for easy convenience.  The NVRs menu-driven wizard and GUI-based camera image and motion detection setup allows for easy plug-and-play setup.

The new NVR line-up includes:

  • SRN-473S 4-channel NVR offers 32Mbps network camera recording and is equipped with four PoE/PoE+ ports and up to4TB of storage.
  • SRN-873S 8-channel NVR offers 64Mbps network camera recording, includes eight PoE/PoE+ ports and can accommodate up to two HDDS or 8TB of storage.
  • SRN-1673S 16-channel NVR supports 80 Mbps network camera recording, incorporates 16 PoE/PoE+ ports and allows for up four HDDs or 16TB of storage, with front accessible hard drives.
