Razberi Launches Next Generation of IP Video Surveillance Appliances

Razberi Technologies is pleased to introduce Razberi ServerSwitchIQ, the new generation of all-in-one, intelligent IP video surveillance appliances. Built for security and engineered for performance, the Razberi ServerSwitchIQ product line is optimized to reduce the impact of megapixel cameras on the IP network. The new appliances are compatible with leading VMS and IP camera providers and represent a complete suite of video recording appliances scalable for enterprise-wide to rugged locations. All models include cloud-based cyber security and health monitoring features.

"Deploying Razberi ServerSwitchIQ appliances in a distributed architecture can reduce the impact on an organization's IP network by up to 95 percent," said Tom Galvin, CEO, Razberi.  "Connecting IP cameras directly to Razberi ServerSwitchIQ™ appliances not only reduces traffic on the main network, but it enables our intelligent cyber security and health monitoring toolset to proactively protect the video management system."

Razberi ServerSwitchIQ is a family of intelligent, all-in-one appliances that embed a managed PoE switch, server and video storage. The appliances are built with high performance Intel® CPUs and a smart, powerful Ethernet switch fabric that delivers full wire speed data and PoE Plus on every port. Built with Intel Quick Sync video technology, Razberi ServerSwitchIQ™ supports video viewing and playback through an HDMI port with full 4K compatibility, eliminating the need for a separate PC workstation. Built-in RAID storage scales from 1TB to 64TB with enterprise disk drives and a redundant power supply, providing a cost effective, reliable alternative to general purpose servers and switches.

"We have taken Razberi ServerSwitchIQ appliances to a new level since we pioneered and patented the industry's first NVR with an integrated PoE switch. Now much more than an NVR, the Razberi ServerSwitchIQ is a smart alternative to expensive centralized, general-purpose servers, switches and storage. Putting more horsepower in our appliances is critical to meet the demands of megapixel video management, video analytics and 4K video viewing. Our cloud-based health monitoring and cyber security capabilities give our integrators simple, but powerful tools to proactively protect the integrity of the video management system," Galvin said.

All Razberi ServerSwitchIQ models include intelligent features that make it easy to manage, maintain and protect appliances, evidence and IP networks from wherever you are. It comes fully equipped with cloud-based health monitoring via Razberi VyneWatch providing proactive notifications of camera issues and tampering. Razberi LocBeri provides cyber security protection with the ability to easily lock down exposed IP camera ports from hacking. All Razberi appliances are built on open architecture and certified to support world-class video management systems (VMS).
