Sielox CLASS Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System Selected for Pemberton Township Schools

Sielox CLASS Crisis Lockdown Alert Status Systems (CLASS) have been selected for installation in New Jersey's Pemberton Township School District to enhance security and safety efforts. The CLASS System meets the district's unique security needs as outlined in a specification for an emergency communication system developed by Kathleen Devlin, Security Chief for Pemberton Township Schools.

"We were looking for a system that was cost-effective and easily deployed," said Ms. Devlin. "Sielox CLASS instantly notifies responders using chat and email alerts, and provides visibility of activities in the school using dynamic floor plan maps.  It adapted to our 'run, hide, fight' procedures and will be a great asset to instantly communicate and update school administration and law enforcement during daily incidents and crisis events."

Sielox CLASS enhances situational awareness and communication in the event of an emergency. Designed for use in K-12 and higher education environments, CLASS provides real-time classroom status, updates and notifications to administrators and first responders through the use of graphical maps, email and text messaging. Having access to the most current and accurate information and status is critical to support making split-second decisions.

Fort Dix Elementary School is the first of ten schools within the Pemberton Township Schools to deploy Sielox CLASS. The school serves approximately 420 preschool through fifth grade students and is located within the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Installation of the Sielox CLASS project for Pemberton Township Schools was awarded to The Protection Bureau, a Sielox authorized Business Partner.

"Sielox is committed to providing our nation's schools with the technologies they need to help keep students, staff and visitors safe," said Karen Evans, President and CEO, Sielox LLC. "We are excited to add Pemberton Township Schools to the growing list of schools who are enhancing their safety and security capabilities with Sielox CLASS."

Pemberton Township Schools serve over 5,000 students from Pemberton Township, Pemberton Borough and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The District includes ten schools comprised of one pre-kindergarten, seven elementary, one middle and one high school.

In addition to CLASS, Sielox offers advanced integrated solutions for professional security applications from entry level to enterprise-wide systems that include a wide range of access control and surveillance software, hardware and accessories. All Sielox products are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. and are sold through a worldwide network of more than 200 certified Business Partners.
