Connected Security at ISC West

During ISC West, visitors can also attend the Connected Security Expo, a new conference-led event that focuses on holistic security and aims to bridge the gap between IT Security and Physical Security for IOT. The expo helps attendees better understand information security and physical security can – and should be – used together to combat existing, new and upcoming cyber threats.

The Connected Security Expo kicked off with a speech about reducing the times it takes to detect tamper. Cyber threats are becoming more and more common, but with the technology available and resources yet to come, physical security should be able to fight off these threats more readily.

The expo also discussed the state of the market for Iot and Security, as well as hitting on such topics as mobile device usage and how all mobile devices need to be more secure. Cybersecurity is always a hot topic, and there is still so much to learn about it. It doesn't matter if you're a CEO of a large corporate dealing with sensitive information, or a stay-at-mom who pays all your family's bills online, cybersecurity is for everyone.
