OpenEye adds Director of North American Sales

Jack will be responsible for leading the OpenEye regional sales organization selling business solutions

OpenEye has announced the appointment of Jack Johnson as the new Director of North American Sales. Jack will be responsible for leading the OpenEye regional sales organization selling business solutions through sales channels, developing new accounts, and providing Heroic Customer Service.

Prior to joining OpenEye, Jack served as Chief Operating Officer of CNS, where he executed company strategy through day-to-day management of company operations, expanding mobile broadband in communities.

He previously founded and helped build Intelligent Access Systems, a security systems integration company, which was ranked in the top 100 systems integrators by SDM magazine from 2004-2014. Following Securadyne Systems’ acquisition of Intelligent Access Systems in 2014, Jack served as a director with the company, managing a new successful strategic sales program. Prior to that, he co-founded Entry Systems Inc., which introduced the very first hotel guestroom card locking systems in the U.S.

“Jack’s strong sales leadership experience as a successful integrator will bring our team key expertise in supporting our channel partners in creating profitable business growth, said Ed Solt, OpenEye Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to his leadership as we expand the OpenEye sales organization.”

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
