Live From ISC West 2017 Day 1

The first day of ISC West started off with a packed floor in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo Center on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Companies old and new gathered to promote the latest in video management, access security, and more.

BCDVideo, which shares a booth with Milestone Systems at #18053 this year, announced the release of the new Milestone XProtect VMS Powered by Deep Learning & GPUs. The project is in collaboration with NVIDIA, which is leveraging its GPU capabilities in the security industry for the first time at this show.

Everbridge, booth 3040, is promoting the recent announcement of its strategic alliance with Lenel to offer comprehensive security management on-premises and off-premises to help protect and notify employees. The Everbridge interface can now aggregate data about severe weather, terrorism and other incidents as well as last-known location data to locate at-risk individuals.

A popular booth this year was #4103, where LILIN showed off a number of new products including the 1080P Full HD Door Station. The station is a remote door entry control system with a call button that flashes while a call is active, as well as a weather-resistant design that is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. LILIN was also handing out free shirts at the event promoting this product.

Open Options unveiled a fresh new booth design over at #1097, that puts an emphasis on the company’s many technology integrations. Attendees are able to see integration in the following categories: audio, video, high availability, destination dispatch, visitor management, IP door controllers, readers & credentials, intrusion detection, wireless locks, and biometrics.

Finally, Salient highlighted the power of enterprise video surveillance at booth 26041 in order to showcase how the company is transforming the way the world views security. Salient brings deployment simplicity and scalability in order to support your requirements.

Day 2 is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
