Views from Day 1 of ISC West

What a crazy first day of ISC West 2018!!

The doors opened up right at 10 a.m. to numerous attendees looking for the most innovative security solutions the industry can offer and boy did they come to the right place!

I feel like I got to see a good portion of the show floor as I walked about 12,000 steps today from one end of the expo to the other visiting booths. The amount of excitement in the air was palpable as I made my way from booth to booth. There are so many new innovations, great partnerships and perfect integrations to talk about. Let’s get into it!

Aiphone Corporation, Booth 17101
Aiphone has a ton going on at their redesigned booth this year including their versatile multi-tenant video intercoms, emergency towers, wall boxes and more. Security Today highlighted Aiphone’s new website in a video on Twitter today. The website was designed with the client in mind, giving users the ability to quickly find products, filtering by categories and listing all helpful information in an easy to digest way. The new website also allows users to watch helpful videos, read new blogs and more. Check it out at aiphone.com.

Razberi Tech, Booth 9077
Just think, what if just one of your cameras was unsecure and could be hacked? Why allow the risk? Razberi Tech is create all-in-one solutions to harden video surveillance solutions but they have also broken apart the pieces of that all-in-one solution to give clients a more flexible way to protect their cameras. Razberi Core is specifically built to scale to enterprise and mission-critical surveillance applications. The appliance can operate as a standalone video server or integrate with the new Razberi EndpointDefender and Razberi Monitor products. These provide automated cybersecurity safeguards and health monitoring across the surveillance system – from cameras to the server.

FLIR Systems, Booth 18059
FLIR has a giant booth right in the middle of the show floor and it seems that it is always busy! The amount of interest to thermal cameras, advanced analytics and enterprise solutions is outstanding and FLIR is ready to create a solution for any customer. Today, Security Today highlighted the value of thermal and onboard analytics for intrusion detection in a Facebook Live video The solution is really great for those who are looking for 24/7 security. FLIR takes thermal video and integrates in their analytics platform to create an all-around solution that is easy to use.

Open Options, Booth 3031
Open Options had a really great first day of the show! Their booth is one of the most interesting and important booths to visit at ISC West given the amount of time and effort they put into creating a flexible and easy to use solution for their customer with great attention to integrations and partnerships. If there is one thing you don’t want to miss at this ISC West it is a look at Open Option’s DNA Fusion platform and just how many companies they work with to create a solution that works best for the end user.

Salient Systems, Booth 29073
Salient’s booth was packed today. ISC West attendees could not get enough of CompleteView Security Platform’s advanced video technologies, which include video synopsis, robotics, and industry-leading video analytics. The platform allows users to reduce the amount of time and resources required to view video and accelerate post-incident investigation with Salient’s Video Synopsis powered by BriefCam. Stop by the booth and tell them Security Today send you!

Louroe Electronics, Booth 8038
Louroe has quite the perfect spot on the show floor up by the front entrance, I bet they had a great view of the marching band that kicked things off in the morning! Louroe is focused on showing attendees what all they can do with audio and they make a great case with their new Digifact A Smart IP Microphone. The all-new Digifact™ A is an IP microphone with audio analytics capabilities and an onboard processor to meet today’s security needs. The Digifact features a quad-core processor that streams audio over multiple industry standards including Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) and can be easily connected to leading VMS platforms.
