Mosher Named AppViewX Chief Revenue Officer

AppViewX today appointed Kevin Mosher as Chief Revenue Officer. With more than 30 years of impressive enterprise software, sales, and leadership experience, Mosher will oversee all revenue generation, customer and partner operations, and multi-channel go-to-market activities to streamline global field operations and across emerging and existing markets.

Mosher was most recently the Chief Revenue Officer at Bromium, where he played a vital role in the company's acquisition by HP. He’s also held leadership positions at Delphix, ArcSight, Oracle and Portal Software. AppViewX is a leader in modular, low-code IT orchestration for certificate and key lifecycle automation, infrastructure orchestration, and IoT and DevOps security solutions, sold through its impressive roster of global channel partners.

AppViewX CEO Gregory Webb, reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic and the new impetus for automation said: “The global situation has created new opportunities to VARS and integrators through changes in how enterprises are prioritizing their budgets. Although IT spending overall dropped unexpectedly in response to the Global Pandemic and its tightening of revenue streams, Gartner predicts increases – particularly in business continuity enablement – moving forward. Gartner’s three-phase planning framework -- Respond, Recover, Renew -- plots possible pathways and outcomes, and process automation and strategic, durable business continuity figure heavily. And that’s precisely where AppViewX helps channel partners demonstrate immense value.

“Digital Transformation efforts have been forcibly accelerated across organizations, with enterprises looking to the channel for the right mix of solutions that can help them navigate the new/next normal. We’ve seen an uptick in frontend solutions for working from home, but up until now, not much relief for IT departments.”

“There is a huge, growing need for low-code automation platforms that is still something the channel hasn’t jumped on yet,” ," said Kevin Mosher, Chief Revenue Officer at AppViewX. “These low-code automation platforms will single-handedly play a huge role in democratizing digital transformation for enterprises. These platforms empower users, irrespective of their coding ability, to create value without having to depend on IT. It drives agility by reducing inefficiencies, eliminating errors, saving time & cost, and enables enterprises to respond faster in turbulent market conditions. Extra services benefit customers and new solutions and additional workflows are required to keep up with business demand.

“There are a few players here, but customers still lack the knowledge on how these platforms can add value in part because competing platforms haven’t demonstrated it. By taking small initial steps to help improve network functions and service availability, end users can pave way for a bigger transformation in how enterprises manage their networks in the future. The channel must also help end users look forward and futureproof its infrastructure rather than just finding technology to help fill a current gap, and that’s where we will partner deeply with our resellers and integrators.”
