SALTO Systems North America Names New Marketing Leadership Roles

SALTO Systems North America has elevated two marketing team members to new levels of leadership to help focus on the four pillars of SALTO NA's efforts: building the brand, fostering a culture of learning and impact, getting closer to the customer, and achieving sustainable growth.

Heena Virjee has been named as senior manager, Marketing, North America. She will guide the continued growth and expansion of SALTO's electronic access control hardware and software security products, oversee the marketing team, shape the overall marketing strategy, and serve as the North America contact for media inquiries. Virjee joined SALTO in 2020 as a creative marketing manager and quickly showed impressive leadership skills.

"Heena's superb leadership, engaging content creation, and wealth of experience have created the opportunity for her responsibilities to grow beyond the digital domain," said Bill Wood, president of SALTO NA. "I'm excited for the SALTO brand and our North America team to achieve new levels of marketing reach and effectiveness with Heena's stewardship."

Virjee said she looks forward to leading the marketing team to continued success.

"We have an incredible marketing team, and I know that together we can build upon the success we've accomplished," she said. "We're committed to building our brand and telling the story of how SALTO improves access, security, and operations for businesses large and small."

Based in Atlanta, home of SALTO NA headquarters, Virjee reports to Colin DePree, Sales Strategy, SALTO NA.

Ann Murphy has been named as SALTO NA marketing manager–Canada. She will guide the overall marketing efforts for Canada and serves as the media contact for Canadian English and French-speaking publications. Murphy joined SALTO in 2019 as Sales and Marketing Coordinator for SALTO Canada. She has since expanded her duties beyond Canada to support SALTO Marketing NA. Based in the SALTO Montreal office in Quebec, she reports to Heena Virjee.

"Ann has played a key role in growing SALTO's presence in Canada and has provided invaluable support to the United States, as well," Virjee said. "We're thrilled that she will continue to help lead our growth efforts in this new role."

"I've had a tremendous three years with SALTO, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to SALTO's impressive growth in Canada and the U.S.," said Murphy.

During a short transitional period, Steve Burk, who previously served as SALTO NA Director of Marketing, will shift his focus and work to accelerate internal momentum around onboarding, learning, and development, and a new rotational leadership development program prior to assuming his new role as SALTO NA Area Manager. Upon which, Burk will assume sales and operational responsibilities for the Southeast area of the United States, including North Carolina, south to Florida, and west throughout Texas.

It also saves time, which is a critical factor if a missing child is involved. Video compression technology has played a critical role as well. Over the years, significant advancements have been made in video coding standards — including H.263, MPEG formats, and H.264—alongside compression optimization technologies developed by IP video manufacturers to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
