Elite Interactive Solutions Names Scott Goldfine Marketing Director

Leading Remote Guarding Technology and Services Provider Brings on High-Profile Industry Figure to Accelerate Growth

Scott Goldfine

Elite Interactive Solutions (EIS), a pioneer in guard replacement services using proprietary intelligence and 100% verified police calls, announces it has appointed security industry veteran Scott Goldfine as its new marketing director. Goldfine joins EIS following a celebrated 25-year career with leading electronic security channel trade publication Security Sales & Integration, where he long served as Editor-in-Chief and Associate Publisher.

“We are thrilled to have Scott coming aboard our accomplished team as we look to further grow our business and expand our offerings,” said EIS Founder and CEO Aria Kozak. “I have known and respected him many years as a principled professional possessing a unique combination of deep industry and media experience and expertise. He understands the magnitude and potential of EIS’ leading-edge technology, services, and value proposition to serve end customers across a wide range of vertical markets.”

Kozak, considered by some as the “father of remote guarding,” founded Elite in 2008. With zero false alarms and an average incident response time of just 7 seconds from the highly trained intervention agents manning its UL certified monitoring facility, EIS has forged trusted relationships and enthusiastic endorsements with law enforcement agencies across the United States. That includes FBI-LEEDA, one of the nation’s most respected organizations.

Elite is a well-known name among local police for only sending real emergency alerts, thus those alerts receive a priority response. The company’s accolades include capturing the Security Industry Alarm Coalition’s 2020 Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award.

“I have watched and admired Elite’s vision and results since its inception,” Goldfine said. “As someone who has covered the industry as long and intimately as I have, I well know how maligned it has been by false alarms and unnecessary police dispatches. At the same time, I have been a keen advocate of advanced technologies like video monitoring and artificial intelligence. The future is leveraging that to end false alarms and achieve true crime prevention. EIS has been and continues to be the tip of that spear, and I am excited to help extend the company’s reach and boost its business.”

In his new role with EIS, among Goldfine’s responsibilities will include generating marketing initiatives, press coverage, presence at industry conferences and events, website content, supporting sales initiatives and more. He will remain based in the Charlotte, N.C., area and report to COO Michael Zatulov, who joined Elite in 2018.

Inducted into the Industry Hall of Fame in 2017, Goldfine directed all editorial aspects of SSI in print, digital, online and in person. The innovative and award-winning content produced under his watch included groundbreaking research, landmark features, leadership roundtables, high-profile case studies and many industry exclusives. Well versed in the technical and business aspects of electronic security, Goldfine is an in-demand industry presenter known as a progressive thinker who has promoted disruptive technology such as networked security, cybersecurity, managed services and AI.

Recognized throughout the channel for relationship building, integrity and leading by example, Goldfine is a solutions-oriented team player who has advised and collaborated with industry dealer/integrator, consultant, distributor, central station, manufacturer and end-user icons and executive business leaders. He has been active in myriad security events and organizations, including ESA, PSA, SIA, SIAC, TMA, Total Technology Summit, ISC, Mission 500, ESX and GSX/ASIS.

“Long leading several of the industry’s most noteworthy programs has exposed me to hundreds of security’s most prominent strategists, operators and marketers. Through the years I have soaked up those lessons and keys to success, which I am now able to distill through my own lens to help power Elite to new heights,” Goldfine said. “Having guided thousands of companies through incisive media content, I now relish the opportunity to do so in a more hands-on capacity.”

Prior to SSI, Goldfine spent 11 years in content creation roles with Display News Network, at the time the world’s largest teletext news media service. A certified alarm technician, former cable-TV tech, audio company entrepreneur, Goldfine graduated with honors from Cal State, Northridge with a Media Management degree in Radio-Television-Film, and also earned a Certificate in Accounting from Santa Monica College.
