HID offered a sneak peek at its new centralized reader management solution, HID Linq. The device is compatible with the entire existing line of HID Signo Readers and can help users streamline the process of remotely managing access control devices and major credential technologies across a wide spectrum of mobile, cloud, and on-premises deployments.

Also on display was the Mercury red board controller, which allows users to simultaneously update multiple HID Signo readers via Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) or by using a serial adapter through a USB connection.

Other products and solutions available for demonstration included HID Origo cloud-based access control, which enables interactions between Employee Badge in Apple Wallet and standard and BLE/NFC readers and phones; government solutions like pivCLASS and Signo PIV reader products; visitor management solutions with capabilities like multi-language support, on-screen visitor check-in alerts, and front-desk instructions; and developments in card personalization including the HID FARGO connect platform, HID ELEMENT UV inkjet, and the HDP6600.

A few aisles down, IPVideo touted the launch of a 10-year product warranty for HALO 3C Cloud customers that purchase a 10-year cloud license. It also debuted the HALO Cloud Application, which sends live data from HALO 3C Cloud devices at installation sites to the administrators’ mobile device of choice. Capable of configurable push alerts, data sorting, and more, the app allows facilities managers, security staff, and administrators to keep tabs on the most crucial information requiring their attention with the swipe of a finger.

“Our continued goal is to provide organizations with solutions that keep those in charge aware and better prepared for situations and emergencies of all types, even those on-the-go,” said David Antar, president at IPVideo Corporation. “We are excited to share our new HALO Cloud App with GSX attendees and are pleased to announce our new 10-year warranty for HALO 3C Cloud users who purchase a 10-year cloud license and provide organizations with an even greater return on investment.”

The Halo 3C Smart Sensor is a multi-functional device for vape, security, and air-health monitoring in areas where cameras are prohibited. It also offers a panic button, emergency alert and escape lighting, motion detection, and people counting (in the HALO 3C-PC model only).

Finally, the Sentry ERS Lockdown & Emergency Response System allows quick and easy communication between school officials and first responders during an emergency. The product consists of two devices: a base unit featuring a lockdown button, and the Sentry ERS QuickCom, which can operate via cellular in certain plans. Both pieces can broadcast live video and audio directly to first responders, which grants them real-time information as they prepare to respond to a potential emergency.
