COSECURE Hires Campus Safety Expert Marlon Lynch

Marlon Lynch joins the security consulting firm as principal consultant after serving as vice chancellor of public safety at CU Boulder.

COSECURE, a division of Cozen O’Connor, has appointed Marlon Lynch as principal consultant. Lynch, who has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement, emergency management and campus safety, joins the firm from his most recent role as vice chancellor of public safety at the University of Colorado Boulder.

There, he oversaw the university’s police department, emergency management, flight operations and threat assessment office. Lynch previously held executive safety positions at public and private higher education institutions.

He has managed security organizations handling police operations, security technology and community engagement, including multimillion-dollar programs to protect students and infrastructure in diverse settings.

Lynch served as president of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and as chair of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.

In his new role, Lynch will work with higher education institutions on risk identification and integrated security strategies.

“Marlon brings depth of experience from complex campus environments,” said Daniel R. Pascale, CEO of COSECURE.

Lynch holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He began his career in municipal policing.
