Minuteman Names Doug Cherney Critical Infrastructure Director
The enterprise security provider appointed the industry veteran to lead and expand its critical infrastructure sector.

Minuteman Security & Life Safety has appointed Doug Cherney as director of critical infrastructure.
Cherney will oversee the expansion of the company's critical infrastructure sector, focusing on helping organizations improve operational resilience and strengthen security operations. He will report to Eric Joseph, global director of business development and strategy.
Cherney has more than 20 years of experience in security industry leadership and channel development. His expertise includes protecting energy operations, assets and personnel through integrated technology.
Before joining Minuteman, Cherney worked as a business development manager for energy at Motorola Solutions. In that role, he helped energy-sector organizations improve their physical, cybersecurity and operational security programs. He also held leadership positions at Prosegur and Rekor Systems, where he specialized in surveillance technologies, channel partnerships and advanced license plate recognition solutions.
Minuteman's critical infrastructure practice provides integrated security and operational technology to high-risk environments. The sector serves power generation facilities, transmission and distribution substations, gas compressor stations, cooperative energy providers, pipeline and fuel storage facilities and critical manufacturing environments.
