Wesco Names Brian Soloway Gulf Region Sales Vice President

Brian Soloway will oversee industrial, construction, OEM and EPC segments to accelerate growth across the strategic territory.

Wesco International has named Brian Soloway as its new vice president of sales for the Gulf region.

Soloway will oversee sales strategies across the industrial, construction, original equipment manufacturer, and engineering, procurement and construction segments. Executive leadership identified the territory as a vital market for the company's long-term growth strategy.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in industrial automation and maintenance operations, Soloway previously served as vice president of U.S. sales for Rittal. In that role, he managed national sales structures and coordinated with engineering and operational divisions to expand market share.

The Gulf region holds a high concentration of suppliers and major projects, making it a focal point for the distributor's global corporate health. In his new position, Soloway is tasked with streamlining regional sales coordination, managing supplier engagement and building accountable sales teams to stabilize profitable growth.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
