The Monitoring Association appoints a veteran credentialing manager to lead its professional certification and workforce programs.

The Monitoring Association has appointed Chris Mahoney as its new director of certification, a newly established leadership role aimed at driving workforce development and expanding professional credentials.

Mahoney will oversee the growth and evolution of the association's certification portfolio, which includes the Five Diamond, FirstNet and IQ programs. He is tasked with creating new credentialing opportunities to support professional advancement within the professional security monitoring and response industry.

With more than a decade of experience in certification and program management, Mahoney previously served as senior manager of program development for the National Apartment Association.
