Kidde Expands Commercial Reach With New Sales Partners

The fire safety brand names regional manufacturer representatives to drive commercial growth in the South and Midwest.

Fire safety manufacturer Kidde has expanded its commercial market footprint through new partnership agreements with two regional manufacturer representatives.

Under the new agreements, Hossley Lighting and Power Solutions will represent Kidde and its sister brand, Edwards Signaling, across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Concurrently, Illinois-based firm The Agency Sales will represent both brands across the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana markets.

The dual appointments aim to accelerate the regional growth of both commercial fire safety lines and Edwards Signaling's audible and visual notification systems. Both partnerships took effect earlier this month.

According to company officials, the choices were driven by the firms' existing market relationships. Hossley brings more than 40 years of electrical industry experience in the South and Southeast, while The Agency Sales, founded in 2019, has quickly established specialized divisions handling electrical and lighting distribution in the Midwest.

Matt Piotrowski, senior director of U.S. commercial sales for Kidde, said the partnerships align with strategies to expand the company's presence in key regional electrical channels. He noted that the regional expertise and customer networks of both firms make them ideal fits for supporting the commercial product lines.

Both distributor agencies provide localized access and product support to networks of electrical contractors, engineers, distributors and end users within their respective geographical territories.
