AI Chatbot Assistant Interface Showing Digital Conversation And User Support

Cequence Security Launches AI Native Platform Update

New software release introduces an embedded artificial intelligence assistant alongside automated global compliance tracking.

An artificial intelligence-native update released by Cequence Security aims to fundamentally alter how enterprise teams interact with digital security tools.

The Cequence Platform 9.0 release includes a built-in assistant designed to help practitioners query, investigate and handle security data using natural language rather than navigating traditional dashboard interfaces. The system utilizes an open Model Context Protocol architecture, which allows corporate automation workflows and external automated agents to interact directly with the security infrastructure without requiring custom code integrations.

The software update addresses expanding network scales driven by the rapid enterprise adoption of automated technologies. The underlying Cequence discovery engine has been re-engineered to scale up endpoint support while lowering overall central processing unit utilization and compute costs for on-premises deployments.

In addition to the operational changes, the platform expansion integrates an automated compliance system. The updated library includes more than 250 pre-built risk rules pre-mapped to 25 global regulatory frameworks, including PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA and SOC 2. Security teams can generate single-click audit reports derived from live data that map findings directly to specific regulatory controls.

To maintain operational oversight, the tool features a verification mechanism that displays the automated assistant’s reasoning and underlying tool calls for every action. The system requires direct human authorization before executing any configuration changes or data writes, while an observation mode allows teams to simulate and test proposed rules against sample data before formal deployment.
