Minuteman Security Acquires Performance Link Technologies

The deal expands the security integrator’s reach into the Southeast with a North Carolina-based provider of low-voltage technology.

Minuteman Security & Life Safety has acquired Performance Link Technologies, an enterprise security and infrastructure provider based in North Carolina.

The transaction expands the purchasing company's footprint across the Southeast and adds new capabilities in structured cabling, low-voltage technology and national multi-site deployments.

Established in 2004 as a cabling firm, Performance Link Technologies expanded into electronic security in 2009. The company provides voice and data infrastructure, video surveillance, access control and wireless networking to clients across the manufacturing, healthcare, education and commercial sectors.

Company executives stated the partnership will allow the combined entities to offer broader technical resources and nationwide support while maintaining local service responsiveness.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
