SoFi Stadium Unifies Security Network With New Platform

The 300-acre Hollywood Park campus integrated its video surveillance, access control and license plate recognition into a single system.

SoFi Stadium and the surrounding Hollywood Park campus have consolidated their physical security operations into a single software network developed by Genetec Inc.

The 3.1 million-square-foot sports and entertainment complex, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, standardizes video surveillance, access control and automatic license plate recognition under the Genetec Security Center platform.

Security operators manage more than 3,000 cameras and 700 badge readers from three centralized control rooms on the 300-acre property. The system runs on an isolated network to protect against cyber threats, with system health monitored continuously from a network operations center during major events.

Moving forward, facility managers plan to expand the platform to include more automated processes and artificial intelligence tools.
