Melissa Butler Joins Allied Universal as Vice President of Communications
The PR veteran brings 15 years of agency experience to lead North American messaging and media strategy.

Security and facility services provider Allied Universal has named Melissa Butler as vice president of communications.
In her new role, Butler oversees internal and external communications across North America, managing public relations, social media, crisis communications and executive messaging.
Butler comes to Allied Universal from the global communications agency Burson, a subsidiary of WPP, where she served as vice president. Over a 15-year career in public relations and marketing, she has led strategic campaigns for brands including Verizon, The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s, Mazda, Spotify and Hyatt.
Her agency experience also includes roles at Burson Cohn & Wolfe, Hill & Knowlton Strategies and agencies in New York City. Butler holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in marketing from San Diego State University.
