i-PRO is marking seven years as an independent company, a period in which it said it gained the ability to make its own technology and business decisions.
Among the changes it outlined, i-PRO said it began operations at its Saga Factory in Japan in October 2025. As the company moves toward an integrated production system spanning component manufacturing, assembly and inspection, the factory is expanding its automation and digitalization efforts. The facility supplies products manufactured in Japan to international markets.
In March 2026, i-PRO took over wholesale and marketing for its products in Japan from Panasonic Connect, bringing development, manufacturing, sales and marketing more fully under the i-PRO organization.
After first applying generative AI to forensic video analysis, i-PRO extended the technology to real-time video through its X-series Fisheye Cameras. The company said the cameras process generative AI at the edge, while its AI On-Site Learning capability adjusts video analytics for individual operating environments.
Through its Security Update Initiative and other initiatives, i-PRO said it is strengthening hardware, firmware and product architecture as cybersecurity standards and regulations change across global markets.
