Securitas Technology has acquired Sonitrol of El Paso, expanding the global commercial security provider's reach across Texas and the Southwest.

The transaction combines Sonitrol's local presence and client network with Securitas Technology's broader corporate infrastructure and technical capabilities.

As part of the integration, Securitas Technology will expand access to Sonitrol's cloud-based platform. The system combines remote management features with Sonitrol's audio verification technology, which is designed to reduce false alarms and facilitate verified police response.
