DigiFlight Names Melody Berry Cybersecurity Manager
Defense contractor hires industry veteran Melody Berry to lead cybersecurity compliance and CMMC readiness programs.

DigiFlight Inc. appointed industry veteran Melody Berry as manager of cybersecurity and compliance.
In her new role, Berry will oversee cybersecurity and assessment programs for DigiFlight and its affiliate, Camelot Secure. She will guide clients through complex industry frameworks, National Institute of Standards and Technology standards and Department of Defense contractual rules.
Berry will also lead Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification readiness initiatives. She will provide third-party assessment organization audit support and conduct practice evaluations to prepare defense suppliers for formal government audits and self-attestations.
Before joining DigiFlight, Berry worked as a lead assessor at CyberRx, where she conducted certification evaluations and managed documentation for submission to the Department of Defense. Her background includes roles as deputy chief information security officer at Alion Science & Technology, IT security officer at NIST and senior cybersecurity consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Berry holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Project Management Professional, CMMC Certified Professional and CMMC Certified Assessor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
