Observation Without Limits Joins UtilityShield Program

Radar maker O.W.L. partners with Convergint to deliver security education and live symposiums for North American utility leaders.

Critical infrastructure leaders will gather in Tennessee this month as part of a new educational initiative focused on utility physical security and regulatory compliance.

Observation Without Limits (O.W.L.), a Huntsville, Alabama-based manufacturer of 2D and 3D radar systems, has joined the UtilityShield program by systems integrator Convergint. The partnership, developed in collaboration with the University of South Florida, offers webinars and in-person symposiums designed to assist utility executives with evolving security standards and facility resilience.

The next live symposium takes place Oct. 14 at the K25 Interpretive Center in Oak Ridge. The event aims to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and physical security deployment for power and utility sites.

Convergint plans to host additional regional UtilityShield symposiums through early 2027, alongside an ongoing digital webinar series focused on utility risk mitigation.
