SALTO Systems, found on the ASIS expo floor at booth 2425, is featuring a range of products but none more prominently that its IP66-rated SALTO GEO, an RFID electronic cylinder that the company says is like none other to be found at the show here in the expansive (and exhausting) Pennsylvania Convention Center nor, for that matter, on the planet.

In what has got to be one of the most well-orchestrated, thoroughly thought-out and all-encompassing booth productions on the expo floor at ASIS 2012 taking place this week at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Panasonic's booth (#3715) is displaying -- and demonstrating -- all the technology, hardware and other accoutrements necessary to connect and protect a city.

Could ASIS be a fickle tradeshow? It seems to me after opening day of 2012 ASIS, the exhibitors received a rather tepid response to what is otherwise a booming and bustling event.
